Some of our friends from the school ~ two whom are teachers and the other our cook ~ and us have an agreement that when it's one of our birthday's we go out to the Westin and everyone else treats the birthday person. Well, Dennis' birthday was back in November while we were up in the States over Thanksgiving. Last Saturday, Miss Samms said that this morning the three of them had a date with us to go to breakfast to celebrate his birthday. After we came back from our vacation it was already December and the mad rush of the holidays was already upon us. So today was the day!
After breakfast, the ladies wanted to go shopping for an area rug for in their living room. We took them to the store where we bought our's for our living room. It didn't take them long to decide on one and the price was right :o) They did a little more shopping in that store and then we went to three more! We left at 9:00 and didn't get home until after 2:00 pm!! It was a jammed packed day with them. We were so happy to be able to take them shopping for the items they wanted. Otherwise, they would have taken taxi's. I told them today they had their own personal taxi :o) It was a successful day from breakfast at Westin clear through to our very last stop at Dairy Queen. What a wonderful way to end our time together.

We talked about Walmart and Miss Blake asked me not to mention that word! haha!! She loves shopping at Walmart and says if she lived near one that she'd go in everyday just to say hi! Funny!! We really don't know how blessed we are in the States even if it's Walmart!! I will tell them hello for you!!
