Taking the School Staff Around the Island

The Saturday before school started we took the School Staff around the Island.
~     ~     ~     ~     ~
The first six pictures were taken at The Blow Holes.
This is two of our new (this year) High School teachers, Carlson and Abigail.  They are from the Island of Grenada.  What a wonderful young couple!!
Walking down by the Sea waiting patiently for a big wave to come in to the Blow Hole.
Our Assistant Pastor, Aaron, and his wife, Gretchen, who is our Music Teacher.

All of these Staff live on the Compound.  We have other Staff who live elsewhere that didn't go with us.
The last three pictures were taken at Rum Point.
It was so miserable . . . . .
hot this day!!!

Breakfast At the Westin

We went to Westin for breakfast before Mike left.  What an awesome experience!!
I had to get these pictures posted, because less than two weeks he will be here again :o)))

North West Pointe

For those of you who from my family that have been down here this is out by the cemetery behind West Bay.

Little Sea Creatures

The Iron Shore By the Turtle Farm

This is called the Iron Shore along this part of the coast line.
See the cruise ship off in the distance?
Little pools in the Iron Shore rock
There the cruise ship is closer to us
A view up the opposite direction toward the Cracked Conch restaurant
It was raining out there!
Here I was using Mike's zoom lens!  Dennis got me one for an early Christmas present.

Hell

There's a little place out back of town here called Hell and here's a little about it.
I'd never been there until Mike came this time

I have not seen another place like this on the Island
The chickens even visit :o)  (Where don't they visit in Cayman!)
Look who was there
There was a neat lizard there

These formations . . . . .
are very interesting!
There's a bar next to where we were.  Not sure what the police were doing there!
Do you see the nest in the rock?  There's a red bird in it!
There's the lizard again.  If there's a pretty lizard, this one was!
Very interesting these formations are!

Rum Point

We went up to the other end of the Island . . . . .
to enjoy some time . . . . .
at beautiful Rum Point!!
Click on the picture to see people in the water snorkeling!

The Blow Holes
