October 3rd ~ Elderly Sunday

Here in Cayman the month of October celebrates the Elderly.  We had two guest speakers and this gentleman is the Minister of Community Affairs & Housing.
These four are siblings and sang a beautiful song.  The lady on the left in the purple is going to be 85 years old this week.  The gentleman on the right is the youngest of the family.  They have three other brothers who were in the States.
Sister Lera was quoting a poem.  She did amazing at reciting it!
A very talented man ~ Brother Laten
These ladies were some of the oldest in the congregation who were presented fruit baskets
Dennis presenting a fruit basket to Brother Carlee who was the oldest in the service.  He's 91 years old.  His wife just passed away about a month or so ago.  He rarely gets out to Church, so it was an honor to have him with us!
My friends who are known as the "Hat Ladies"
After Church ~ some more of the elderly :o)
After the morning service, the Church had a huge meal for the elderly and our guests along with Dennis & I were invited.  They had a taste of Caymanian cooking!

I know!! She was unbelievable. I'm not sure of her age, but I don't think she made one mistake and it was really, really long!!
