Off To George Town

This particular Saturday, we had some plans to fulfill!  First, we went to George Town to go on the Glass Bottom Boat.  When we went to buy our tickets we were an hour early for the trip.  We decided to walk around town for a bit.  There happened to be a cargo ship in port.
When we were standing by the water we saw these little creatures.  They looked like they were embedded in the coral.  Really strange!!
And there was a little tug boat!
And I happened upon these tourists along the street.  In fact, they look pretty familiar :o)
After going to a few gift shops we went back to where we'd board the Glass Bottom Boat.  It's at the same location as the Submarine.
Boarding the boat
We saw two shipwrecks on the Sea floor
and lots and lots of beautiful/colorful fish.

There are those tourists again!  I think they were following me around :o)

One of the guides on the boat, put on his scuba gear and dove into the deep, blue Sea to feed the fish.
As he did this he was swimming right beside the bottom of the boat so we could watch out the windows.

And off he goes!

Say "CHEESE!"
Back outside the boat
A view along the main street of George Town
A pretty fountain between a lot of shops
It was so good to have my family here!!
You can even go on a helicopter ride over the Island and Sea
And if you don't want to go on the helicopter you can ride the bus right out into the water.  Click on the picture to enlarge.  The bus is pretty much in the center of the picture.
We were pretty hot, so we went into to Burger King by the Sea for a drink.  And some had a burger and fries!
