Dear Daddy,

Today it is seven years ago that you left us!  It just doesn't seem possible that you've been gone that long.  Last week one morning I woke up very, very early before the sun was up and heard the birds singing outside.  It brought back memories of the morning you passed on to your eternal reward when the birds were singing outside the window of the nursing home there in Doylestown, Ohio!!  I'll never forget the long night that Vi, Jim and I spent there with you.  It was so painful to watch you laboring to breathe and knowing that soon you'd be leaving us.  Even though I know I'll see you again someday the separation is sooooooooooo hard.  You were a wonderful Dad who provided for and loved his family.  After seven years, you are still missed and loved so much!!
