Three Legged Race

This is another race that is a big hit!!  These kids get going and next thing you know they fall.  And I mean fall!!  There's a lot of coral out here sticking up out of the ground and that will hurt you bad if you fall on it!

The Last Event of Sport's Day

Oh, my the excitement as the day pasted by!!  The students were eagerly awaiting the moment when it was time for tug~o~war!!  They love the competition!!  Following are pictures of all four teams.  Then they did loser vs. loser and winner vs. winner.  It was so exciting to cheer them on!!

This was our two Sport's Days!!  But come back as I'll show you what happened as a result of being outside during this period of time!!

Congratulations On Great Team Work!

Last Thursday, school was dismissed early because our Boy's Basketball team was in the playoff's and then they ended up in the Championship game!  Dennis was asked to go with the guys until the Coaches could get there as they had to drive the school buses to take other students home.  Dennis got home a little before 6:00 pm and said it didn't look too good for our team.  They were still playing when he left them.  Earlier in the day, one of the boys on the team (Mavrick ~ front row on the right) came into my office asking me to call his parents as he was really, really sick!  A short time later, another of the boys came and was also really sick.  So, the team was really down and when Dennis came home and told me that Mavrick showed up I was shocked.  But when Dennis saw him he had street clothes on.  Our great team kept advancing and eventually Mavrick put on a basketball uniform and played.  I forget how many games they ended up playing, but were the top winners in the Private School Association Basketball League.  Congratulations guys!!  You are awesome!!

Advertising For ISC Extravaganza

Every year in May students 13 years and up are able to go to the International Student Convention in the United States where students gather from all over the world for five days!!  This takes lots of money and last year we started doing a fund raiser to help with this endeavor.  Here Dennis and our Associate Pastor, Aaron, did a spot on one of the local T.V. stations.

One of the high school teachers and three students going to Convention did a spot on one of our radio stations.

We want the local community to know about it and to come support our students.
