Brandon's Apartment

I know my family will enjoy seeing Brandon's apartment!  Someone bought an old warehouse and remodeled it into apartments.  It's really neat!

Another Favorite

Another favorite in Cleveland is the West Side Market!

I use to love going there

when we lived in Ohio.

So, I suggested going there

on Saturday!

Oh, the things . . . . .

Then we went here for dinner!  The owners are Polish and the food is out of this world delicious!

Friday Night's Indians Game

We got to Brandon's late Friday afternoon (July 20th) unpacked the car and went to the Indians game.

It felt so good to be there

for the first time

in about a year!

And look who was there ~ none other than Jim Thome who is now a Baltimore Oriole but previously an Indian.

And then he turned around and hit a home run!!

The flag was flying at half mast as this was the day of the shootings in Aurora, Colorado

They had a huge fireworks display both Friday and Saturday night.

It must have lasted 20 minutes or more.

It was awesome even though the Indians lost to the Orioles!!

There's nothing like a good (or awful) ball game, hot dogs and fireworks!!

Going to Cleveland

So good to be back to blogging!  I have a lot to get caught up on ~ like about three weeks worth of our trip :o)

When we left Youth Camp in Northwestern Ohio we drove over to Cleveland to spend the weekend with Brandon.  It was so good to be back in the area after living there for over 12 years!

Coming into downtown Cleveland and there is the Indian's Staduim . . . . .

But the best attraction of all was seeing Brandon!!  It's hard when you don't see your family only a few times a year.  Here he was coming out to tell us where to park in his apartment complex area!
