Appreciation

After the children were finished with their recitations, Lorna, who is our Sunday School Superintendent presented some special people with gifts for all they do for the Church!

Here is our friend, Karen.  She is the Sunday School Secretary.

Maureen was presented with a beautiful basket of flowers.  She is our choir director and put in mega hours working on the Christmas Cantata.

Darla plays the piano for Children's Church

Dennis appaulded Lorna for all the work she does for our Church.  She is a very dedicated worker!!  She doesn't know it, but on Sunday she will be presented with her gift.

Unfortunately when Lorna called Dennis and I up front nobody got my camera to take a picture.  The Church gave us a two night get~away to a major resort on the East End of the Island.  It is for a beach front room!  WOW!!  We were really surprised.  Now we can't wait to use it!!

After the drama was over, Lorna had talked to Dennis and this is what she said!  She had found another gift that was to be presented for appreciation.  It was for Doug our sound & IT guy!  When Dennis started saying how good Doug is at his job the sound system went off.  It was hilarious!!  Doug sure was on his toes :o)  He really is great at what he does.  His job covers so many, many areas and we don't know what we'd do without him.  Dennis told him several times in the past that as long as we're in Cayman he has to stay here, too!!  He is Dennis' right arm!!  What a great guy!!
