Dinner Last Evening

A couple from our Church took us and the former Pastor, his wife, daughter~in~law and two grandchildren out to dinner last night to this awesome restaurant. This is similar to a salad bar but it's not your ordinary salad bar. Oh, my!! The food on there was delicious. There was hot and soup food, soups, a few salads, fresh veggies, fresh fruit, cheese and crackers and on and on!! They get your drink order when you're first seated. Then you go up to the above food bar and when you come back to the table the waitress has laid down a plastic credit card type card by each person's place setting. One side is red for "STOP" and the other "GREEN" for more or okay (I believe). You don't order off of a menu. They start out by bringing chicken and the cheaper meats :o) Then it goes on to lamb (which I didn't try), all kinds of steaks and again on and on!! They bring it as long as your card is turned on the green side. I think some people go there and eat there money's worth. The food is out of this world delicious, believe me! Come down and we'll take you there, okay??????? What a great, fun evening. After we finished with the main course, the waitress brought out their dessert menu. I declined that wonderful offer!! Three of our party got fried ice cream while another one got warmed chocolate cake with ice cream. Unfortunately, they didn't have cheesecake on the menu. I was surprised since it was a very, very nice restaurant. After eating, we just sat around and talked and laughed!! What a wonderful time we had!!
