Well, today is a day that we weren't looking forward to!! Brett is in the beginning stages of an 8 month long deployment. He left Tampa today around 12:30 and should be at Fort Dix in New Jersey by now. He'll be there for 1 1/2 months and leave in October to go to Afghanistan ~ again!! He will be in training while at Fort Dix. Please remember him in your prayers. I know how hard it was for me to say goodbye on Saturday, but I can't even imagine how hard it had to be for him to say goodbye to his wife, adorable 3 year old son and 11 day old sweet baby boy this morning!! It just breaks my heart for him. He's such a good Daddy to his boys. Also, remember Karissa as she is Mother & Father both to the boys over this time!! We appreciate your thoughts & prayers!!!!
