A Big Surprise

Well, finally I've got my pictures all downloaded here on blogger and all of my posts completed after being back to Grand Cayman for over a week!  Dennis and I both were very sick while up in the States and even after we came home.  That's the reason this has taken longer and I wanted to put them all on here in order!  Oh, how nice it was to see our family and GRAND~kids!!  We don't see them often enough with being so far from them.

The first morning of our trip up north we awoke to a light snowfall in West Virginia!!  What a greeting for us who live in the Caribbean :o)

A little later in the morning I looked out one of the windows and saw a hen turkey walking around in the yard!!

More Snow

Can you believe it?  The week after Easter and we go to the States from the hot, sunny Caribbean and we actually get snow??  Unbelievable!!

Spring Blooms

Oh, how I love the Spring buds and blooms!!  I actually got to see the apple tree blooming glistening in the snow :o)  Hopefully it wasn't damaged with the cold temperatures!!

Out to Dinner

Brett, Karissa, Caden & Jordan flew from Albuquequere, New Mexico to Pittsburgh on Easter Sunday.  They went to Karissa's mother's in Ohio and then on Monday Brett drove to West Virginia by himself.  The following Friday he went back to Ohio and Saturday brought his family to visit with us for the rest of their vacation.  We met them in Clarksburg and had dinner together at a Chinese restaurant that we all like.

Fishing At Great~Pappy's House

There's a big pond across the road from Dennis' homeplace.  Brett and Brandon use to spend hours over here fishing when they'd go to West Virginia during the summer when they were younger.  If you click on some of these pictures you can see them better.
