Earlier this month, our dear friend, Jean, had a birthday and with so much going on it totally slipped our minds until later in the week! Not good!! I felt so bad that we'd missed her birthday. She has become a very dear friend and it's not nice when you forget your friend's birthday :o( In her card I said that we were going to take her, Miss Maizie and Miss Samms to breakfast to celebrate her special day. Dennis & I had planned to go swimming in the Sea very early this morning and go out after wards, but we're having some ugly rainy weather so my good idea of going to the Sea is put on hold again (for the third Saturday in a row).
Miss Blake, Miss Maizie & Miss Samms. Miss Maizie is our cook while the other two ladies are teachers here in our school.
My very special friends
If you think of Miss Blake, please pray for her and her family. Her 23 year old nephew was in California since June and on Tuesday evening he passed away as a result of a swimming accident. What a sad, sad situation. She may be going home to Jamaica for the funeral. We were glad to take her mind off of that for a short time this morning!

I know where you took them for breakfast! WESTIN? Sorry to hear of the death in their family. Give them my sympathy. That pb recipe looks scrumptious! NO CALORIES?
Vi.....
Yes, we went to Westin! Oh, the food as you know is sooooo delicious. YUMMY!! Come down and we'll go again :o) It's so sad about Miss Blake's nephew. All of the investigations aren't finished yet, so his body hasn't been released. I will let her know. And for the Yummy Peanut Butter Dessert, no, not one single calorie! haha!! Wouldn't it be nice to eat whatever you wanted and it wouldn't be fattening or hurt you heath wise? I guess we'll have to dream on, right?
