Brother Laten Resigns

Brother Latan has been the Assistant Pastor and Church/School Treasurer for the last several years.  Over the last 7 - 8 months he's been very sick and very close to death many times!  But right now he is doing well again for which we are very thankful.  He is a big asset to our Church and a wonderful person.  But this morning in our Morning Worship service he read his resignation letter from these positions because of health reasons.

Next, Dennis presented him with a really nice plaque from the Church in appreciation of all he's done.

Then Josie, our Secretary, read a very fitting letter of thanks to him!  This whole presentation was very well done.

Now tomorrow, Dennis leaves and goes to the States to search for a new Associate Pastor/Treasurer.  He will be gone most of the week.  We want who God has for us here at West Bay Wesleyan Holiness Church!  I'm sure it will be a very busy and tiring week as he does this job.  But hopefully if everything goes the way he's planning, he'll get to see Brandon and also Karissa, Caden and Jordan before he comes home!!  He is one Lucky Duck :o)  So, if you think of him this week, please pray that God will lead him to the right person for this job.  It is a big responsibility and we need a very dependable person.
