Getting Their Easter Baskets

The first night I just had to give them their Easter baskets!  Caden crawled up on his Pappy's lap to wait while Jordan was with his Mommy!
It looks like he was in shock about something
Pappy showing him his goodies
Pap bought some fishing goodies to put in Caden's basket
Jordan checking out his loot

These little character bottles (Pooh & Woody) . . . . .
had apple juice in them.

An Airport In the Living Room??

Caden got a new toy that was an airport and got a lot of playtime out of it!!

My Lil Ham

Helping Grammy Bake

When Caden was very small he loved to help me bake . . . . .
and he still does!!
And now it was time to sample the finished product!  He must be happy with it as he was smiling big!

A Fisherman and Baseball Player

I love this picture of Jordan holding his fishing pole Pappy bought him!
The following two pictures are so good, but blogger turned them sideways.  Disgusting!!

Both the fisherman and baseball player together!

Fishing At Great~Pappy's House

There's a big pond across the road from Dennis' homeplace.  Brett and Brandon use to spend hours over here fishing when they'd go to West Virginia during the summer when they were younger.  If you click on some of these pictures you can see them better.

YUCK

While Brett and Karissa were across the road fishing this is what he caught and brought home!!  Disgusting and look at Caden holding it!!

They found an empty coffee container and put the snake inside of it.  Brett took a knife and poked holes in the lid.  I told Caden that if they didn't let it go that it would die, but he didn't want to hear that :o)  The next day, Brett caught some kind of insect, I can't remember what it was.  So, he got the coffee container aka the snake's home, lifted the lid just a little bit to slide the insect in and lo and behold, the snake slithered out and went across the patio it went into the mulch to be history as a pet!  HALLELUJAH!!  Caden was a little sad, so Brett explained that it needed to go back to it's family!
