Those Who Performed

Our School Band . . . . .
did a great job!
         Brother Laten played his guitar and harmonica

Our School Choir introduced a little of their Easter Cantata
Juawon & Aaron played a trumpet duet. . . . .
while Kirsten & Melissa played a flute duet!
Then Travis & David also played a duet!

This event lasted for 4 hours +!!  There were several hundred people who came out to support our Students!!  It was awesome to see such a huge turnout!!

Brother Burton from our Church is trying his hand at the chicken while Rev. Jefferson takes a break :o)  After all, he's 84 years old, so I guess he could take a break after several hours at it!!

Recognition Time

Dennis recognized Chef John who cooked the BBQ chicken for us and gave him a gift certificate for his kindness!
Mrs. Profitt, our Principal, introducing our PTF Committee and did a lot of planning and work for this huge undertaking!!

This group of students are some of the one's going to ISC in May. 

Prize Time

Finally, the time came for the students to find out who the three were that sold the most tickets!!  The students going to ISC were not qualified to win the prizes.  This bike was the first place prize and it went to . . . . .
Flavio ~ he's a kindergartener whose Daddy really helped him by selling 41 tickets!!
When Dennis called him up to congratulate him he was eating an orange Cotton Candy :o)  Flavio's dad told us later that he rode the bike home in the dark.  He was so excited!!
Next, in second place was my little friend Paris who is in 2nd grade.  Her total was 18!!  She won a $50.00 gift certificate to book store.
And Tateyara' came in with selling 16 tickets.  She won a $25.00 gift certicate to a book store.
