More Goodies
I decided to make a vegetable pizza and was it ever worth the time and effort put into it!!
One of My Favorites, But Oh, So Expensive
I just love Velveeta cheese!!! A lot of Sunday nights after Church we come home and I'll make grilled cheese sandwiches for us as a snack. I've not bought any down here until this week as it's sooooooo expensive. I needed it for a breakfast recipe I was making as we have company this week. For just a little 1 lb. box of Velveeta it's almost $5.00. But did it ever taste good!! I can't wait to go to the States before long as I'm going to bring some back with me!!

Newest Addition To Our Family
Meet Cocoa!! This morning Dennis & I were going to the grocery store and this little adorable pooch was spotted under one of our Church buses. Isn't he cute??? He's so friendly but acts like he may have been abused as he draws back from you at times. Right now, he's resting on our screened porch. I had put him in our fenced in yard, but he was able to squeeze through that. So, I'm hoping nobody comes knocking on my door asking if we've seen a lost pup, because I will be sad. Since we were on our way to the store, the food has been bought for him and his little dish:o) He's going to be an outside dog ~ no more inside dogs for us!! But we really need a good watch dog and hopefully he'll be just that.

I forgot to explain why the new puppy's name is Cocoa. Over the last several weeks when I was talking to Caden on the phone or Skype, I always asked if his new baby had arrived yet and what the baby's name was going to be. Everytime he told me the name was "Cocoa". So, I decided that since our grandbaby that will be born in just a few weeks name really isn't going to be Cocoa, I will use that in honor of Caden and his baby brother that's arriving soon :o)

Birthday Bash
When we were packing to move here to Cayman, I remembered I had Caden's birthday presents already bought and wrapped!! So, when we loaded the truck to go Miami to have our things shipped here, we put the presents on there to leave at Brett's house until the appropriate time. And the appropriate time was on Saturday! We had our own little belated birthday bash for our Little Man!! The following are some pictures I captured in his excitement!!
Goin' To Breakfast
We decided to take Karissa and Caden to breakfast at Hardee's. On the way someone special was being just plain silly:o)
He told his Mom that he wanted her phone to play games on it. He's a hoot, let me tell you!

And play he did! There's a guitar on there that when you strum it it actually plays guitar sounds. Just too smart!!
Spending A Little Time With Brett
Unfortunately, Brett wasn't able to get off work on Saturday. So, after our "birthday bash" with Caden, we took off and went on base to have lunch with Brett. He told us to go to the food court by the Commissary to which he called and we met him outside.

Being silly ~ as usual :o)) My Little Man cheezing it up for Grammy!!
Brett told us to follow him to the building where he was working and there was a nice pavillon with picnic tables. So, we sat here with him for about 30 minutes or so before we had to leave to go to the airport.

Deep in thought about something but I love the seriousness of his adorable face!!

Heading "Home" to Cayman
We left Tampa about 30 minutes later than were scheduled to on Saturday afternoon due to someone purchasing a ticket and never showed up on the plane, but they sent luggage that was stowed away underneath with everyone elses. And because we have good security at the airports it was detected and after waiting for quite a while it was determined by the airlines to remove that "un"passengers luggage. Our flight back to Cayman was rather smooth until we started descending closer to the Island as the weather has been really rainy! But the clouds we went around and through were breath taking!!!!
